INNOVATEXT at the Tex Tailor International Fair in Plovdiv, Bulgaria

INNOVATEXT Co. had a permanent booth at the international fair Tex Tailor Exhibition 5-7 October 2023, Plovdiv, Bulgaria, in Hall 2. The aim of participating was to promote the OEKO-TEX® and to support strategic partners. During the event our colleagues could introduce the actual portfolio and the news of OEKO-TEX®, and could held meetings and give customer information for partners, manufacturers, designers, retailers and interesting visitors.

Our colleagues spoke about the OEKO-TEX® certifications, how international brand OEKO-TEX® is and is one of the best-known product safety labels for sustainable development. It was highlighted that Bulgarian companies can apply for OEKO-TEX® certifications addressing the request to INNOVATEXT Co. in Hungary, because the institute supports the regions of Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria. Our colleagues highlighted benefits of the OEKO-TEX® certificates, focusing on OEKO-TEX® STANDARD and OEKO-TEX® STeP.

The visitors of the INNOVATEXT booth learned, that the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® has become the most well-known environmental certification label of textile products worldwide over the past two decades. Several start-ups, but also big, well-known companies among representants of Bulgarian universities and the academy visited our booth. They were informed, that this standard stipulates comprehensive criteria and strict limit values for testing textiles for harmful substances. Its high market value gives a competitive advantage to the product, so the OEKO-TEX® label can be an important tool for the end-users at decision-making when purchasing textile products.
